Robin Shepherd - Musical Director

We are delighted to have Robin Shepherd as our Musical Director. Robin is a great fiddler and plays with the bands Magnetic North and Shepherds Hey. He has many years of experience in traditional music and dance and takes classes in both subjects.

He is well known for musical arrangements and recordings with traditional music performers and has worked for many years with Yorkshire Dales Workshops. Robin brings extensive experience of working with and teaching young people.

Maggie Allred - Assistant Tutor

Maggie Allred works as a teacher at the Steiner School. A classically trained violinist she also loves traditional fiddle. Maggie especially enjoys the challenges of helping young people extend their skills from classical violin to traditional fiddle.
